Co-produced with young people, and championing peer to peer engagement and the importance of trust building, this initiative will fund projects to seek out young people, and encourage those from disadvantaged backgrounds to participate in and lead youth social action.<\/p>\n<p>Grants of between \u00a320,000 and \u00a350,000 per year for up to three years (with a maximum of \u00a3150,000 in total) are available. It is expected that between 15 and 30 grants in total will be awarded.<\/p>\n<p>Project must meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to demonstrate effective ways to build relationships with \u2018reluctant\u2019 young people in their own community.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to demonstrate how they will engage those young people in creative, innovative and meaningful social action.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Priority will be given to projects that will work with young people in areas of high need and deprivation, and where there are minimal services or activities available for young people. It is expected that applicants demonstrate the need of the young people they will work with, based on indices of deprivation, unemployment and other measures as they see fit.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for applications is 12 May 2017 (midday).<\/p>\n<p>Full details can be found on Comic Relief\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.comicrelief.com\/grants\/initiatives\" target=\"_blank\">website<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Young Entrepreneurs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Baldwins Kick Start Award is offering \u00a320,000 to young entrepreneurs in the UK. Baldwins Kick Start is an annual award programme for young entrepreneurs who would like to start their own business. The winner of the award will be given a grant of \u00a310,000 coupled with \u00a310,000 worth of mentoring and accountancy advice. Two runners-up will be presented with \u00a35,000 worth of accountancy advice and mentoring fees over a period of one year. The scheme is open to young people aged between 18 and 25 who either have an idea and a business plan but are yet to start trading, or newly founded start-up businesses where trading commenced on or after 31st August 2016. Are you part of a group who work with, or support young people aged 13 to 24? Do you have an activity that could develop young peoples\u2019 physical, mental or spiritual capacities?<\/p>\n<p>Humberside Youth Association is seeking applications from individuals, groups or organisations that promote activity for the benefit of young people living in North East Lincolnshire.
