The Triangle Trust would like to see applicants use these grants as part of a programme of work to develop sustainable income sources, so that when the grant comes to end your organisation\u2019s income will not be reduced. Funding is available for up to \u00a380,000 over 3 years.\u00a0 The closing date for submissions is noon on 4th May 2017.\u00a0 Previously unsuccessful applicants must wait two years before re-applying.\u00a0 Please visit <a href=\"http:\/\/triangletrust.us13.list-manage2.com\/track\/click?u=fb9da48888970d78ac77acf41&amp;id=2251274bea&amp;e=9c474ecbb9\">www.triangletrust.org.uk<\/a> for full details.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FUNDING: community radio<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Community Radio Fund, managed by Ofcom with funding from the Department for Culture, Media and Sport will open its first funding round for 2017\/18 on 12th April to radio stations that are not-for-profit, run by local people for local people about local issues. There is approximately \u00a3200,000 available in grants. There is no set level of funding. Grants will be made as a single lump sum and are to cover a one-year period only. The funding is intended for community radio licensees broadcasting under a community radio licence in the UK to cover costs. The deadline for applications is 10th May. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ofcom.org.uk\/tv-radio-and-on-demand\/information-for-industry\/radio-broadcasters\/community-radio-fund\">Read more and apply here<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tackling Inactivity and Economic Disadvantage Fund<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sport England will be accepting applications from April for the second round of a \u00a33 million Tackling Inactivity and Economic Disadvantage fund. The fund will be available for projects which use sport and physical activity to improve lives and communities. The fund will support inactive people who have little income and are therefore economically disadvantaged. This group make up a third of the population in England aged 16 to 74. Applications will be accepted from a wide range of community organisations, including non-sport organisations.
