Bryan Woodward, ex\u00a0 Senior Fatal Investigator for the Prison and Probation Ombudsman will be delivering a guest lecture at University Centre Grimsby on Tuesday 28th March at 5pm.<\/p>\n

\"Criminology<\/a><\/p>\n

Bryan has over 30 years of experience in the criminal justice system, starting as a prison officer at HMYOI Glen Parva and completing his working life in HMP Everthorpe as a prison governor.
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

As a Senior Investigator, Bryan worked in Westminster, at home and all around the country, investigating cases of death in custody in UK prisons.
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

He has worked his way up through the ranks in the prison service, in a diverse array of prisons: Cat A through to Immigration Centres.
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

His presentation will be a unique opportunity for you to hear about a real-life case of death in custody and how the investigation developed and concluded.
\n<\/em><\/p>\n
