{"id":13675,"date":"2017-02-16T12:27:10","date_gmt":"2017-02-16T12:27:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/?p=13675"},"modified":"2017-02-17T09:25:25","modified_gmt":"2017-02-17T09:25:25","slug":"the-way-forward-event-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/2017\/02\/the-way-forward-event-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"The Way Forward Event 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Towards the end of last year the\u00a0 North East Lincolnshire Clinical Commisioning Group (CCG) shared with their stakeholder\u2019s information about the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.northlincolnshireccg.nhs.uk\/who-we-are\/stp\/\">Humber Coast and Vale Sustainability and Transformation Plan<\/a> (STP). The plan set out their proposals for the future direction of health and social care services across the region. This was the first stage in a programme of work that was started in April 2016 by a partnership of local authorities, NHS commissioners and providers and other community based organisations.<\/p>\n<p>As such, the NEL CCG would like to invite patients, carers, voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations, partners, service providers and elected representatives to join them to move this forward here in North East Lincolnshire.<\/p>\n<p>At the Way Forward 2017 health and social care leaders will present information and answer questions about plans for new local models of health and social care; what the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.northlincolnshireccg.nhs.uk\/who-we-are\/stp\/\"> STP <\/a>could mean for people in North East Lincolnshire, and the CCG\u2019s priorities for the coming year.\u00a0 The Way Forward 2017 will feature interactive workshops about medicines, self-care and prescriptions, thinking differently about how we use primary care services (such as GPs and practice nurses); mental health services for young people; adult social care; and plans to redesign urgent and emergency care services.\u00a0 There will also be an opportunity to meet the new provider of Community Dermatology Services \u2013 Virgin Healthcare \u2013 and find out their plans to develop the community-based dermatology services including the introduction of Teledermatology.\u00a0 The attached programme provides more information about the content of these sessions.<\/p>\n<p>Click <a href=\"http:\/\/Way Forward 2017 Programme final (2)\">here<\/a> to view The Way Forward 2017 programme.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Events<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Way Forward 2017 \u2013 Public and Stakeholder engagement events<br \/>\nWednesday March 8<sup>th<\/sup> 12.45pm to 4.30pm<br \/>\nHumber Royal Hotel, Littlecoates Road, Grimsby DN34 4LX<\/p>\n<p>Alternate \u2018bite-size\u2019 meeting<br \/>\nWednesday March 15th from 6pm to 8pm at<br \/>\nCentre4, Wootton Road, Grimsby DN33 1HE<\/p>\n<p>Book your place by emailing <a href=\"mailto:nelccg.accord@nhs.net\">nelccg.accord@nhs.net<\/a> \u00a0or calling 0300 3000 567.
