The organisation, formerly known as GHoPA, has moved to a new location, has a new telephone number, as well as new Twitter and Facebook handles.\u00a0 And to top it all off, in 2017, Positive Activities will be celebrating their 10th birthday!<\/p>\n<p>The organisation is now based at Centre4, Wooton Road, Grimsby, and have refined their services in order to meet the needs of local businesses, education providers, health\/community organisations, and local people. Positive Activities deliver events and a wide range of activity based programmes and rewards days. Their menu of sporting, adventurous and creative activities is delivered in a structured and supportive, collaborative environment to help people of all ages and backgrounds, develop physical, social and emotional skills. The programme works to help people live happy and healthy lives by helping them to develop good habits, combat social isolation and build confidence. You can book Positive Activities for celebrations such as birthdays and Christmas Parties. Positive Activities are proud to say that they work with people of all ages, regardless of their age, background or employment or educational status.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8216;Spirited&#8217;\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Positive Activities are looking to introduce mental well-being into their existing physical health activities, combining understanding of self-help strategies and highlighting the links between good physical and mental health.<br \/>\nThey have created a unique healthy mind and body change programme named &#8216;Spirited&#8217;, and have submitted their project\u00a0with AVIVA for their yearly Community Fund.
