Since then it has dropped to similar levels as before the crisis, at around 600,000. Despite this decrease, the youth unemployment rate (14.9% in 2015) remains significantly higher than the general unemployment rate of 5.4%.<\/p>\n<p>If you are\u00a0 aged between 16-24 and have personal experience of using careers guidance, Jobcentre Plus, or even just looking for a job, The Work and Pensions Committee wants to hear from you.
