Although originally set up to provide hardship and education grants to individuals associated with the Glaxo pharmaceutical company, they have evolved and now primaril give grants to charities supporting those in need.<\/p>\n<p>The Triangle Trust is inviting applications for Development Grants from not-for-profit organisations whose sole purpose is to support the rehabilitation of offenders and ex-offenders. The funding is for core costs and increasing long-term sustainability. The Trust would like to see applicants use these grants to develop sustainable income sources. Funding is available for up to \u00a380,000 over three years.<\/p>\n<p>The closing date for submissions is <strong>12 noon on Thursday 3rd November 2016.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For more information, click <a href=\"http:\/\/www.triangletrust.org.uk\/\">here. <\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Aviva Community Fund Project Submissions open Tuesday 13th September 2016<\/strong><br \/>\nDo you have an idea for a project that would make a real difference in your community? Or is there already something happening in your local area\u00a0that would benefit from extra funding? The Aviva Community Fund is back to support good ideas making a real difference where it matters most.<br \/>\nThere are four funding levels on offer, from \u00a31,000 to up to \u00a325,000.<\/p>\n<p>To apply, tell Aviva how your project will make a positive change in one of these areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Health, disability and well-being.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the younger generation.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the older generation.<\/li>\n<li>Sport in the community.<\/li>\n<li>Environmental projects in association with the<\/li>\n<li>Community support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For more information and to apply, click <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aviva.co.uk\/good-thinking\/community-fund\/\">here. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Closing date for applications is <strong>Tuesday 11 October 2016.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>The Community Fund process<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The Community Fund applications will be open from\u00a0 Tuesday 13th September &#8211; Tuesday 11 October 2016.<\/li>\n<li>Voting will open on 21st October &#8211; 18 November.<\/li>\n<li>Aviva will announce the finalists on 22 November and the winners will be announced on 10 January.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>For more information, Aviva have created a useful project submission guide and terms and conditions to help you with your applications that can be found <a href=\"http:\/\/cts.vresp.com\/c\/?SmallCharitiesCoalit\/16dd1aa798\/d65107c808\/4bcd380a52\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Get the community behind you<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Once you\u2019ve put your entry in, it\u2019s up to you to spread the word to friends, family and neighbours to gather votes for your project. Everyone who registers at <a href=\"http:\/\/cts.vresp.com\/c\/?SmallCharitiesCoalit\/16dd1aa798\/d65107c808\/bce9835d44\">aviva.co.uk\/community-fund<\/a> gets 10 votes. Voters can spread their 10 votes around or use all 10 to really get behind one project.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Giving projects the funding they deserve<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For requests of up to \u00a31,000, the finalists\u2019 submitted projects will receive the funding they want, subject to due diligence. Grants of up to \u00a31000 are available to voluntary organisations who want to showcase how they have been working with patients and the public to involve them in health services.<\/p>\n<p>The community grants will be awarded to organisations who want to tell the story of their patient and citizen participation work in a creative and appealing way. This could be through film, photo or audio books, leaflets and posters, graphics or comics \u2013 it\u2019s up to the organisation to choose what works best for their project! The final product must be something that highlights best practice and can be shared with others to encourage them to involve patients and the public.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants will need to tell NHS England about the successful project they would like to highlight and how they will use the grant to showcase this work.
