VANEL run an \u201cInduction and Refresher\u201d training session for newer or more inexperienced trustees.\u00a0 It\u2019s an ideal starter if you are unfamiliar with the role, or perhaps into your first role as a charity trustee.<\/p>\n
It can even be useful if you are joining a board or committee that is not formally a charity (hence you are not a legal \u2018trustee\u2019 and some charity law will not apply), but it is primarily aimed at Charities.<\/p>\n
Over the course of two hours we\u2019ll help you to understand the role of a trustee or committee member a bit better, so you know what you should and shouldn\u2019t do, how you need to behave and what you need to do to be effective.<\/p>\n
