The funding aims to provide education for estranged young people (aged 16 &#8211; 20) who do not have any parental support and are working towards a goal of education, training or employment. It is for work to establish a stable home environment and access to activities that help promote a young person\u2019s wellbeing. Buttle UK is specifically seeking applications from organisations supporting young ex-offenders.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.crowdfunder.co.uk\/plus\/just-act\/community-fund\">FUNDING: crowdfunding for community projects<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Just Act has become part of Crowdfunder and is offering \u00a350,000 to community groups and organisations in England and Wales. They will be adding up to 50% of the funding target to a maximum of \u00a31,000 to volunteer-led community projects that will change lives for the better. Groups must achieve their total project target to receive the funding, and projects must be delivered by an organisation with an annual income of less than \u00a350,000. The funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.groundwork.org.uk\/Sites\/tescocommunityscheme\/pages\/Category\/apply-for-a-boh-grant-tes2\">Great News About Bags of Help <\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In order to give Tesco customers a say much more frequently on where their money goes, as of today the Tesco Bags of Help grant scheme will now be permanently open for applications from community groups!<\/p>\n<p>There are also a number of other exciting changes to the scheme.<\/p>\n<p>Bags of Help will now see the money raised by the 5p bag charge in Tesco stores in England, Wales and Scotland opened up to a greater range of projects that support community participation in the development and use of open spaces.<\/p>\n<p>Projects that will now get the green light as a result of the funding will include volunteer training, physical improvements of open spaces, equipment purchases, community events and sports and leisure activities.<\/p>\n<p>Following a public vote, three projects in each of the 200 Tesco regions will receive a grant each month, with first place receiving up to \u00a35K, second place up to \u00a32K and third place up to \u00a31K.<\/p>\n<p>Please spread this exciting news and apply now!<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/chancellor-philip-hammond-guarantees-eu-funding-beyond-date-uk-leaves-the-eu\">British businesses and universities will have certainty over future funding and should continue to bid for competitive EU funds while the UK remains a member of the EU.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Thousands of British organisations will receive guarantees over <abbr title=\"European Union\">EU<\/abbr> funding in a new move by Chancellor Philip Hammond.<\/p>\n<p>Key projects supporting economic development across the UK will be given the green light, ending uncertainty over their future following the UK\u2019s decision to leave the European Union.<\/p>\n<p>Assurances set out by the Treasury include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>all structural and investment fund projects, including agri-environment schemes, signed before the Autumn Statement will be fully funded, even when these projects continue beyond the UK\u2019s departure from the <abbr title=\"European Union\">EU<\/abbr><\/li>\n<li>the Treasury will also put in place arrangements for assessing whether to guarantee funding for specific structural and investment fund projects that might be signed after the Autumn Statement, but while we remain a member of the <abbr title=\"European Union\">EU<\/abbr>.
