There’s still time to submit your application\u00a0for the Winifred Tumim Memorial Prize<\/a> for best practice in charity governance.<\/p>\n

If you’ve improved the effectiveness of your governance and delivered greater public benefit as a charity in line with Good Governance: a Code for the Voluntary and Community Sector<\/a> you could be in with a chance of winning.<\/p>\n

To apply complete this online form<\/a> and submit it online by Friday 9th September 2016.<\/p>\n

1st\u00a0prize\u00a0– \u00a31,000 for your organisation.<\/p>\n

2nd\u00a0prize\u00a0– a free place at the NCVO Annual Conference 2017 or on one of NCVO’s governance training days.<\/p>\n

3rd\u00a0prize\u00a0– a copy of NCVO’s\u00a0Good Trustee Guide<\/a>, its companion publication\u00a0Good Governance: A practical guide for trustees, chairs and CEOs<\/a>, a copy of the\u00a0Charity Handbook\u00a0<\/a>and a copy of the\u00a0Charity Checklists<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend the\u00a0NCVO\/BWB Trustee Conference<\/a>\u00a0on Monday\u00a07th November for free (standard price \u00a3294),\u00a0where the winners will be announced at the evening drinks reception.<\/p>\n
