Applications for funding from The People\u2019s Heath Trust \u2018Active Communities\u2019 annual \u201cHealthwin\u201d are now being accepted. Organisations\u2019 and groups from around North East Lincolnshire are encouraged to put forward their ideas about how to improve the physical, social and mental health of their community and apply for funding from \u201cHealthWin\u201d to turn that idea into a reality.<\/p>\n
\u201cHealthwin\u201d, is a regional programme which aims to strengthen community ties and improve areas by providing funding for projects designed and run by local people. Maybe you want to set up a local youth centre, or fund a community-based art or music project where people can come together and be creative. The possibilities are endless. Communities of interest are also invited to get involved and submit their ideas. Communities of interest are classed as groups of people who have things in common and who wish to come together to create or improve something within their community.<\/p>\n
Organisations\u2019 and communities of interest can apply for \u201cHealthWin\u201d funding between \u00a35,000 and \u00a325, 000 for up to two years. The spectrum for funding is vast, so if you have an idea for a project which will benefit your community, come along and talk to VANEL. We can help guide you through stage one of the two stage online application process.
