To help develop the strategy, they want to hear from carers and anyone with an interest in the local Carers\u2019 agenda, including those who have someone care for them, businesses, social workers, NHS staff and other professionals that support carers.<\/p>\n<p>Carers look after a relative (for example a parent, child or sibling), partner, or friend in need of help because they have an illness, disability, frailty or a substance misuse problem. The care they provide may be personal, emotional or supervisory. The new Carers\u2019 Strategy, taking us through to 2020, will set out the forward plan for how North East Lincolnshire ensures carers are supported in the future.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for submission is Friday 30<sup>th<\/sup> September.
