If so, nominating them for an Honour or Award can be a great way to recognise their efforts.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt 0cm;\"><b><span style=\"color: black;\">Recognising Individuals<\/span><\/b><span style=\"color: black;\"> &#8211; nominate someone for an individual Honour &#8211; The Office for Civil Society recognises volunteering in the community, voluntary and social enterprise sector, for example, philanthropy, community cohesion, supporting those who are less well off, supporting the growth of social action and civil society, helping improve capability and innovation in the voluntary sector and making a significant and sustained positive impact on the lives of young people. The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/honours\" target=\"_blank\">form and guidance are online<\/a><span style=\"color: black;\"> along with instructions on how to nominate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt 0cm;\"><b><span style=\"color: black;\">Recognising \u2018Local Community\u2019 Voluntary Groups<\/span><\/b><span style=\"color: black;\"> &#8211; nominate them for a Queen\u2019s Award for Voluntary Service \u00ad &#8211; This is the highest award given to local volunteer groups across the UK to recognise the outstanding work carried out in their own communities and it is the MBE for volunteer groups. ?The deadline for nominations is 16th September 2016. \u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/qavs.direct.gov.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">You can nominate online<\/a><span style=\"color: black;\">. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 12.0pt 0cm;\"><b><span style=\"color: black;\">Re-Tweet Me<\/span><\/b><span style=\"color: black;\"> &#8211; The Cabinet Office recently <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/cabinetofficeuk\/status\/766599155162681344\" target=\"_blank\">Tweeted<\/a> about the Queen&#8217;s Award for Voluntary Service to raise awareness of the award, so that as many outstanding voluntary groups as possible can be recognised.
