{"id":11589,"date":"2016-08-17T09:34:28","date_gmt":"2016-08-17T08:34:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/?p=11589"},"modified":"2016-08-17T09:34:28","modified_gmt":"2016-08-17T08:34:28","slug":"funding-round-up-14","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/2016\/08\/funding-round-up-14\/","title":{"rendered":"Funding Round Up"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Project Viability and Project Development Grants<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Project Viability and Project Development grant programme offers awards of between \u00a33,000 and \u00a310,000 to support churches to become more sustainable through the diagnosis of issues affecting the church, by testing the viability of proposed solutions to improve sustainability, and through development of guiding policies and plans that will be implemented through an application to the Heritage Lottery Fund or other large church heritage funders.<\/p>\n<p>This a limited pilot programme. The deadline for a 2016 grant\u00a0decision is Monday 12th September 2016. Decisions will be made in December 2016. New dates have just been announced for our\u00a02017 grant programmes &#8211; there will be three decision rounds. The application form will be offline from 12th September and will reopen in October. The age range for young people is 11-25 years.<\/p>\n<p>Priority will be given to projects which:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Actively involve young people in planning, running, and evaluation of the project.<\/li>\n<li>Promote positive action\u00a0i.e. young people from different backgrounds coming together to address shared problems like improving green spaces.<\/li>\n<li>Are run by non-statutory organisations, such as youth clubs, scout\/guide groups, local voluntary and community organisations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Grants can provide part-funding. Grants are not available for converting young people to a different faith.<br \/>\nGrants are given only to UK based organisations and are given for the agreed purposes set out in the completed grant application form. Grants are for use in accordance with the Trust\u2019s charitable objectives. The Inter Faith Youth Trust as funder takes no responsibility for carrying out the work.<\/p>\n<p>Completed applications must be received by email by<strong>\u00a0Friday 9<sup>th<\/sup> September 2016. <\/strong><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p>To apply download an application form here<\/p>\n<h3>Celebrating participation in healthcare community grants \u2013 apply now!<\/h3>\n<p>Has your community group done some amazing patient, service user or carer engagement work that\u2019s improved healthcare services?<\/p>\n<p>If so we want you to tell us about it.\u00a0 In fact, we want to support you to tell everyone about it!<\/p>\n<p>NHS England will be awarding grants of up to \u00a31,000 to a number of projects that showcase good practice around patient and citizen participation in healthcare.<\/p>\n<p>In your application you will need to tell us a bit about how you have been working with patients and citizens and, and how you plan to use the grant to share and showcase your work in a creative way.<\/p>\n<p>The grants can only be awarded to a voluntary organisation.\u00a0 Please make sure that you <a href=\"https:\/\/www.engage.england.nhs.uk\/survey\/community-grant-application\/user_uploads\/fv_2016-grant-guidelines-final.pdf\">read the guidance before you apply and that you can meet the criteria set out<\/a>.
