The Lincolnshire learning disability charity, Linkage, is appealing for volunteers and for donations of items for its new chain of shops.
\nLinkage, which operates services for hundreds of people with learning difficulties across Greater Lincolnshire, is preparing to open a network of charity shops, starting this year, to raise important revenue and provide a shop window for the charity\u2019s own product range including crafts.<\/p>\n
Linkage, celebrating its 40th<\/sup> anniversary in 2016, is also keen to boost the number of volunteers to help staff the shops and for support other fundraising activities.<\/p>\n Charity Shop Development Co-ordinator David Spencer says: \u201cIt\u2019s an exciting new venture for Linkage across the Greater Lincolnshire region. The shops will also provide an outlet for the brilliant woodcrafts and ceramics produced by our adult clients.
