(on the ICO website)<\/p>\n<p>The ICO have issued a <a href=\"https:\/\/ico.org.uk\/media\/1624219\/preparing-for-the-gdpr-12-steps.pdf\">&#8220;12 steps to take now&#8221; guide<\/a> which is worth starting with.<\/p>\n<p>There is <a href=\"https:\/\/ico.org.uk\/media\/for-organisations\/documents\/1624219\/preparing-for-the-gdpr-12-steps.pdf\">an infographic version of this here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>One of the most useful resource roundups has been produced by NCVO on the Knowhownonprofit website. <a href=\"https:\/\/knowhownonprofit.org\/organisation\/operations\/dataprotection\">Get to it here<\/a>. Worth working through all these resources.<\/p>\n<p>Particularly useful is the <a href=\"https:\/\/ico.org.uk\/for-organisations\/resources-and-support\/data-protection-self-assessment\/\">Self-Assessment tool<\/a> to see how you are progressing.<\/p>\n<p>The Fundraising Code of Practice applies to any organisation undertaking fundraising activities and it will be fully updated on 25th May 2018 to comply with GDPR.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fundraisingregulator.org.uk\/code-of-fundraising-practice\/code-changes\/code-changes-gdpr-post-may-25th-2018\/\">Find out about the new version of the Code here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There is a Advice Line from the ICO for small businesses (including charities). <a href=\"https:\/\/ico.org.uk\/global\/contact-us\/advice-service-for-small-organisations\/\">Details about this here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A useful quick guide to GDPR has been published by NAVCA. Whilst targeted at Infrastructure organisations this is still very general and useful. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.navca.org.uk\/assets\/000\/000\/296\/GDPR_Briefing_-_NAVCA_members_(February_2018)_original.pdf?1518520248\">Get it here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve got the funds to pay for it, then the new GDPR Portal from the Small Charities Coalition is a useful way of getting support for you during the GDPR compliance process.
