{"id":11545,"date":"2016-08-12T10:54:44","date_gmt":"2016-08-12T09:54:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/?page_id=11545"},"modified":"2017-01-10T09:29:09","modified_gmt":"2017-01-10T09:29:09","slug":"healthwin","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/vanel.org.uk\/va\/projects-old\/healthwin\/","title":{"rendered":"HealthWin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>HEALTHWIN support has now closed.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cHealthWin\u201d, is our regional version of a national programme which aims to strengthen community ties and improve areas by providing funding for projects designed and run by local people. <\/strong>There are 51 Community Interest Companies raising money to address health inequalities across England, Scotland and Wales through The Health Lottery.\u00a0 So the People&#8217;s Health Trust charity works with the Health Lottery and the Community Interest Companies to run the scheme across the country.\u00a0 In the East Riding, Hull, North and North East Lincolnshire areas HealthAble runs the scheme, which for this area is known as &#8220;HealthWin&#8221;. VANEL has supported the scheme by locally supporting groups in North East Lincolnshire who were interested in submitting applications for the funding.<\/p>\n<p><strong>More information<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Constituted organisations\u2019 which have been established for three months or longer and are situated within North East Lincolnshire, were, last month,\u00a0 invited to brainstorm project ideas which could benefit their community, and apply for &#8220;HealthWin&#8221; funding. Communities of interest were also invited to get involved and think of ideas. Communities of interest are classed as groups of people who have things in common and who wish to come together to create or improve something within their community.
