Humberside Safer Future Communities Network (HSFCN)

Nationally, Safer Future Communities is working to develop and support networks in each of the police force areas in England and Wales. These local Safer Future Communities Networks will:

  • engage with PCCs and other local community safety commissioners to promote the role of the VCSE sector in local community safety activities;
  • highlight the community safety concerns of VCSE organisations and the people they work with and influence the decisions and agendas set by the PCCs to ensure they are reflective of local needs.

VANEL was commissioned to lead OUR LOCAL NETWORK – the Humberside Safer Future Communities Network.

The Humberside Safer Future Communities Network covers Northern Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire and it was launched on 30th July 2012 in Barton-upon Humber.

We maintain a website at www.vanel.org.uk/sfc where news related to the Humberside Police and Crime Commissioner and relevant news is posted.

Visit the website here.
