Armed Forces Day in Cleethorpes.

This is now the largest event on the East coast of England thanks to the support of our visitors, sponsors and local businesses. With a host of displays, parades, entertainment and trade stands we have something for everyone.

VANEL staff and the IGNITE team will be at the event. And the Blue Lights Brigade team and plenty of volunteers will both have a stand and will be out and about throughout the weekend of the event. Come and say hello.

As part of Heritage Lincolnshire Heritage Open Days, there is an open event at Cleethorpes Town Hall on Sat 14th September 2019

Meggies Heritage along with Cleethorpes Charter Trustees welcomes you to WWII Cleethorpes.

The exhibition focuses on local preparations for war, with highlights including healthcare pre-NHS, casualties and personal memories as well as Blitz Kidz DVD which evocatively explores wartime childhood.

PAYMENT INFORMATION:

• Organisations that annually subscribe to the Volunteer Development Service: this meeting is part of your subscription fee.
• Organisations that do not subscribe to the Volunteer Development Service: £10 per organization

 (up to 2 places per organisation).    On receipt of confirmation of attendance your organisation will be invoiced for this meeting.

An Older People’s Advice Day will take place at Cleethorpes Memorial Hall on the 2nd October.

It will be between 10am and 3pm. Information and guidance about a whole host of issues for older people.

VANEL will be there ready to talk to people about Volunteering and Big Local North Cleethorpes will be represented to share news about support for local people (including free IT support).

Please note this event is only open to organisations who are based or work within North East Lincolnshire.

This will be our largest event to date.  We are excited to announce ‘new to our funding fair’ funders will be attending this year – news to follow.

All funders and agencies will be available for one-to-one conversations on the day.
