VANEL Annual General Meeting
Thursday 15th September 2016 at 4pm
at the Parkway Cinema in Cleethorpes.
All Members and Friends weree invited to attend for this formal part of our yearly calendar. We started with networking and then followed with a mini “VANEL Film Festival” showcase work of VANEL past, present and future visually.

The 2017 VANEL AGM will take place in October 2017 and this page will be updated closer to the time.

The formal Annual General Meeting begins at 4pm.
Join the VANEL team from 2.30pm for refreshments and networking. At 3pm VANEL will be presenting a visual journey through our past, present and future work and this will conclude in advance of the formal AGM at 4pm.

Change to Executive Committee powers

The AGM is expected to last until 4.30pm at the latest.

Each year we share a report on our activities over the previous financial year. This year we’re presenting our “report” visually before the AGM – come along for the 3pm showing to find out more.
A more formal “Report from the Trustees” has just been issued in DRAFT and can be read here. (This only becomes final once adopted at the AGM in September).

Before and after the AGM itself, there will be a chance to network with each other and with VANEL staff and volunteers. There will be a number of stands explaining some of the VANEL programmes and activities.
The Memorandum and Articles of Association of the Company (Voluntary Action North East Lincolnshire) requires its members to elect an Executive Committee at its Annual General Meeting (AGM). The Executive Committee should have at least five members and not more than fifteen members.
We therefore need a maximum of fifteen nominations for members of the Executive Committee. Nominations must be from an organisation that is currently a Member of Voluntary Action North East Lincolnshire (VANEL).
The Honorary Officers, namely Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer and Minute Secretary will be elected from amongst their number at the first meeting of the Executive Committee following the Annual General Meeting.
N.B: All new Trustees will now be interviewed
