Places are still available on the AIS/Community Grants course aimed at young people between 18 and 30 who are unemployed. The course aims to help young people find out about local employment opportunities and can provide them with taster sessions in the renewables sector. Humber Learning Consortium are managing the ESF Community Grants Programme 2016-2018 and are pleased to announce the launch of the 4th round of funding available.The aim of the fund is to help unemployed people progress towards employment through access to learning and training opportunities delivered by not for profit organisations in the heart of predominantly disadvantaged communities. The Youth Social Action Programme is now open to applications for grants from groups working with young people between the ages of 10 and 20 years old (or 25 for young people with learning disabilities) living in Greater Lincolnshire. The programme funds activities which encourage young people to learn new skills by taking part in social action and volunteering.
