Further FJF vacancies
Information circulated regarding FJF:
NELC is running a national job creation programme called ‘Future Jobs Fund’ which offers financial assistance for upto 6 month (maximum £6,175) towards the salary cost of a newly created job.
The programme is due to end in March 2011 however some funds are still available to organisations that can meet the criteria.
If you are a ‘non profit making’ organisation that can create a NEW job that will benefit the community and you are prepared to
recruit an unemployed person to this post and you think you can meet the following criteria, please submit an Expressions of Interest form by the 5th January 2011.
Criteria
Any job created for this programme must be;
- an additional/new job, meaning it would not exist without this funding
- a ‘green’ job or be of benefit to the community,
- be a minimum of 25 hours a week, for 26 weeks paid at the national minimum wage rate and
- must be suitable for those on Job Seekers Allowance aged 18-24 years old who have been unemployed for 6 months.
