Economic Context

It’s often useful to put the work we and our groups undertake into a wider context.  There is a range on information available on the state of the economy both in North East Lincolnshire and wider afield.  Here’s a few of the resources we’ve found.

The Humber Economic Partnership (HEP) website gives access to information covering the Humber region.
website: www.humberep.co.uk

HEP publishes the Humber Economic Bulletin, the Market Intelligence Bulletin, Humber Economic Monitor and Humber Intelligence(links valid Feb 2010)

Yorkshire Forward is the Regional Development Agency covering our area.
website: www.yorkshire-forward.com

A variety of economic information is available via their website.
YF jointly publish a monthly labour market report here.

A December 2009 report on the North East Lincolnshire economy is here.

A variety of current economic information can be accessed here.  Includes economic updates and policy briefings.

Always worth referring to the Regional Economic Strategy for Yorkshire & the Humber here.

The Local Economic Monitor is a dynamic website containing information about a number of national indicators displayed on a county level basis.  Free to access – just register yourself.
