WebClub exists to help charities, social enterprises, community and voluntary groups to learn about website development and maintenance and to be able follow through on web-based projects in a supported way.

At the heart of WebClub is the tutorial concept.

Each WebClub meeting includes one or more tutorials to help members learn about a subject, topic, tool, technique or approach in some depth.

In addition, tutorials are available in note form following meetings, in our e-newsletters and here on this blog to help reinforce or remind members about that learning.

Tutorial notes and advice are available only to WebClub members (learn more about membership here).

Nothing our tutorials cover is obscure knowledge – everything can be found online, in books or in magazines – often in considerable depth.  But sometimes finding the right resources and information is the problem.  Our tutorials will normally signpost to other resources to ensure you have simple guidance at your fingertips and can remember what meetings covered.

By providing tutorial information, along with face-to-face meetings and a support service, we find members are more readily able to tackle the web development tasks in front of them.

TUTORIALS

Tutorials will be written, delivered and developed as WebClub proceeds.
Members can access information about existing tutorials via the links below, or browse the articles via the private WebClub category.

If you/your organisation is interested in particular tutorials (or need something not listed below) then please contact me.  Tutorials can be prepared and delivered during WebClub meetings in the order WebClub members want.
